Types of Licenses Available at SRTIP
SRTIP offers different types of business licenses for free zone businesses, which are:
Industrial License
This license is mandatory for businesses involved in activities such as manufacturing machinery, transforming natural materials, metals manufacturing, textile production, and food and beverage production.
Service License
With a service license, you can provide specialized services like consulting, investing, and banking.
Trading License
SRTIP issues trading licenses for businesses engaged in import and export activities of goods locally within the UAE as well as across the border.
Available Office and Plot Area Options at SRTIP
SRTIP provides a range of options for office and plot areas to suit various business needs. Here are some of the options available:
First Step Hi-Tech Office
Designed for start-ups less than three years old, this office space option is perfect for those who are just starting their business journey.
Maktabi (Co-Working Space)
Ideal for small business owners, this co-working space option provides three desks and access to meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi, and on-site parking facilities.
SME Office
This option offers a fully furnished office space of 20-27 sqm, which can accommodate four to six desks.
Ecosystem Office
For those who require a dedicated office space, the Ecosystem Office provides a fully furnished office area of 50-80 sqm, which can accommodate more than 10 visas.
Innovation Office
This option allows businesses to lease open area space at SRTIP HQ at a reasonable rate of AED 800/sqm.
Innovation Plot
SRTIP also offers plots for developing projects within the premises at competitive lease rates.
Documents Required for Setting Up a Business in SRTIP Free Zone
To set up a business in SRTIP free zone, the following documents are required:
For Individual Shareholders:
• Passport copy of the shareholder(s) and manager(s)
• Copy of the latest UAE entry stamp/visit visa
• Copy of residence visa and Emirates ID of the shareholder(s) and manager(s) (for UAE residents)
• Address proof of the shareholder(s) and manager(s)
• Passport-sized photo of the shareholder(s) and manager(s)
For Corporate Shareholders:
• Memorandum of Association (MOA) and
• Article of Association (AOA)
• Trade license (for an existing company)
• Board Resolution
• Certificate of Incorporation
